The BCHL’s Westside Warriors cordially invite you to their 2010/2011 season opening game on Friday, September 10th at Royal LePage Place.
It’s the first game for both teams as the Warriors play the Penticton Vees.
The Warriors are hosting a tailgate party starting at 5pm. Gates open at 6pm and the puck drops at 7pm.
In the courtyard the Maximum Power Project will be performing live before the game. Outside there will be a beer garden and fair style food vendors.
Stutters Restoration will be handing out rally towels to the first 1000 fans. 2010/2011 pocket schedules are also available.
This year kids 12 and under can sign up for the First Stars Club, for free, and get interactive with the team all year long. Information will be provided at the door and is on our website.
Then sit down, and buckle up, for player introductions and a ceremonial faceoff with Westside’s Mayor, Doug Findlater.
After all the fanfare get ready to enjoy your first Warriors action in months. The club has a strong team with 12 returning veterans and some new exciting faces in the mix. "We are excited to get the season underway,” says Head Coach/GM Darren Yopyk. “Our players have worked extremely hard this off-season, and are all chomping at the bit to get things started."
